PioneerCare Center seeks a full-time receptionist to serve as our guests’ first impression and as the information center for residents, visitors, and staff – in person, by phone, and via email. The receptionist also performs general office duties and coordinates transportation needs for care center residents. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Applicants must have a high school diploma and additional related training. Previous experience in customer service or an office setting is preferred.
The selected candidate will demonstrate active listening, customer service, and positive communication skills with a variety of people. A high degree of accuracy while prioritizing duties is imperative. To succeed, the receptionist must be accepting of frequent interruptions, possess strong skills with office computers, multi-line telephone, and general office equipment; be organized; practice professional and courteous telephone etiquette; and understand the need to protect confidentiality.
