As an integral and valuable part of the Fergus Falls Community, we, the Board of Directors of the Fergus Falls Chamber of Commerce, want to share with you some exciting news. We have taken the necessary steps to start renovations of your Chamber building located on Court Street. We feel this is the perfect time to move forward with this project. This is a necessary step for our organization to upgrade the front door to our community. As a board of directors, we have looked at many options, including different renovation and expansion plans at the current location as well as looking at new locations for the Chamber office. We have determined the most feasible plan to be to renovate and update our current building.

One of the responsibilities as a board is to be fiscally responsible and be good stewards of your investments. Over the past ten years we have set aside revenue from special events, (ie. Chamber Golf Tournament, Taste of Fergus Falls, etc.) and from voluntary contributions for building updates and projects. No membership dues will be used for the renovations. Our next step is to send out Requests For Proposals (RFPs) and to figure out our overall budget and timeline. Our goal is to complete this project in 2018.

We want to put our best foot forward and be a positive representation of our business community. We look forward to sharing our progress with you. Please feel free to contact me or Fergus Falls Chamber President Lisa Workman with any questions or if you would like a tour of our current building. Thank you for your time.
