Lake Region Healthcare Announces Patient & Visitor Screenings
LRH to Implement Screening Process to Enter Their Facilities
[Fergus Falls, MN] In our ongoing efforts to protect the health and safety of our staff and our community, effective today, all patients and visitors will be screened prior to being allowed to enter any of Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) facilities. This includes our hospitals, clinics (Fergus Falls Walk-In Clinic, Main Fergus Falls Clinic, Ashby, Barnesville and Battle Lake) and the Cancer Center. Patients (and their visitor if accompanied) should expect to be screened at or in the vestibule or entry areas as they approach the building. If any concerns of respiratory symptoms are identified they will have a mask placed on them and they may be asked to complete further COVID-19 screening with a staff nurse.
As a reminder, our current restrictions on visitors allow only one designated support person to accompany any patient to a clinic visit or to visit a hospital patient during their stay.
Additionally, the Business Service Center building in Fergus Falls will be allowing entry for outside visitors by appointment only. If an in-person encounter for business services is necessary, patients should request these visits by calling the phone numbers below. If an appointment is scheduled, patients will be directed on how to complete the screening process prior to entry for their appointment. Business Services appointment requests, phone payments and general billing questions can be addressed by calling 218.739.6774. For requests related to copies of medical records, patients can call 218.739.6813.
