LRH “Living Well” Education Series Returns for 4th Season, Moves to Library
Reign In Your Fall Routine Topic of 1st Session
(FERGUS FALLS, Minn.) – Kary Sytsma, a Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Nutrition and Dietetic Technician-Registered, will be the featured speaker in the first Living Well Education Series for the season sponsored by Lake Region Healthcare (LRH).
“We are excited to bring back our series for a fourth year,” said Natalie Knutson, Wellness Director at LRH. “And we are very happy to announce we will be moving these free education sessions across the street to the beautiful new Fergus Falls Public Library Community Room” she said.
This year’s series will start with a session called “Reign in Your Routine.” Back by popular demand, Kary Sytsma will explore how developing a daily routine promotes health and wellness through structure and organization. “Not only will we spend time on meal planning and preparation, but we will also look into how creating a healthy routine can improve stress levels, sleep, productivity, and physical health,” Sytsma said. “If you are feeling a little chaotic after a fun-filled summer, you will not want to miss this opportunity give yourself a little routine reset,” she added.
The 2019-2020 Living Well educational forums will be held the first Tuesday of each month at 5:45pm from September through April. The education series is designed to offer a broad range of information on health-related topics to address all seven components of Wellness.
The September session will be held on Tuesday, September 3rdth from 5:45 to 7pm in the Fergus Falls Public Library Community Room at 205 E Hampden Avenue. in Fergus Falls.

Two “Shop with a Doc” sessions will also be held as additions to the series in partnership with Service Food Market. Sessions will be from 11:30 to 1pm on October 23rd and a date to be determined in February.
