The Otter Tail County Historical Society’s exhibit gallery and gift shop are now open Tuesday thru Friday from 10 am to 3 pm. The research library remains closed.
After being closed for just over three months we are eager to welcome people back to our wonderful museum. At the same time we are anxious and a bit nervous. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and Stay Safe MN guidelines, your visit will be different. We have had to develop policies and protocols to ensure the safety of the staff and general public. This is new territory for us so please be patient as we work to adjust to a difficult situation.
Admission rates to the museum are $6 for ages 12 and above, $2 for ages 4-11, free for ages 4 and under. A self pay station is available for cash, check, credit card and online payments. You can prepay your admission online at otchs.org/pay.html.
Eight people will be allowed in the museum at rolling 1/2 hour intervals. Please limit your visit to no more than one hour. Face masks are strongly encouraged, we will provide one if requested. We are allowing one way traffic only, please follow the blaze orange floor tape and signs as directed. Please observe physical distancing and hand sanitizer is available throughout the museum. Finally, we have had to either remove or block access to interactive activities. It is our goal for visitors to enjoy their museum visit while staying safe and healthy. If you require further accommodation please let us know.
