A Center for the Arts

BMX Racing
Come and race your bike at I-94 BMX. Races are organized according to age and ability. Helmet, long sleeve shirt and long pants are required. The racing season is mid-May thru August. You can come and watch races Saturdays in mid to late May and Thursday evenings in June, July and August. I-94 BMX is located next to I-94 Speedway of Fergus Falls. Broken Down Dam
This city owned dam gave away in 1909, but the ruins create a beautiful, rustic, scenic attraction!! It is a great picnic area! Drive east on Mt. Faith. Watch for signs!! (Map in Fergus Falls visitors guide down at the Chamber!!)
Central Lakes Trail
The Central Lakes Trail is a major corridor that lies in the central hills and lakes region of Otter Tail County. This trail can be used for the summertime activities of biking, rollerblading, running and walking. The trail can also be used for snowmobiling in the winter. This gorgeous feature lies in a 99-mile rail bed, parts of which are completely hidden from any sign of traffic. Visiting the trail makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable pastime. Enter the trail at De Lagoon park on the south side of Fergus Falls.
Fall Color Tour
For those of you unfamiliar with the beauty of the Fall in West Central Minnesota, a Fall Color Tour map is available from the Convention & Visitors Bureau. The great cross section of hardwoods indigenous to this area produce spectacular palettes of color that are breathtaking to behold. Combine that with the rolling countryside and 1,048 lakes in the county, and you have a recipe for an awe-inspiring visit. Call the Convention & Visitors Bureau at 218-739-0125 for the tour map.
Fergus Falls Raceway
Looking’ for some action? Head on out to Fergus Falls Raceway for some races! Check out all the classes: Late Models, Legends, B-Modifieds, Thunder Cars, and U-Cars!! Races are every Friday night. Green flag’s at 8:00 p.m. and gates open at 6:30 p.m. The speedway is located just North of town on Cty. Rd 88 (In Fergus Falls new Industrial Park* Old Hwy 59) (218) 739-5205
Finn Creek
Finn Creek is a farm dwelling maintained as it was in the early 1900s. It is located 3 miles east of New York Mills on Hwy. 10 then 3 miles south on Hwy. 106, toward Deer Creek then ½ mile west. 218-385-2233.

Glendalough State Park
There’s a bunch of things to see and do at Glendalough State Park!! Hiking trails thru rich hardwood forests, wildlife viewing wetlands, around park lakes and fishing are just a few of the things to check out there!! Park hours are 8 a.m.-10 p.m. The park is located 3 miles northeast of Battle Lake. The park entrance road is off Cty. State Aid Hwy. #16. Give them a call if you have questions! (218) 864-0110.
