    The purpose of this position is to use good patient care while producing quality radiographs and maintaining your own good health. Responsibilities cover general radiography and fluoroscopy, surgical procedures, and CT, and assisting as needed in other modalities . Along with direct patient care duties, includes cleaning, stocking, office work, and holding, transferring, and transportation of patients. This job includes in-house, emergency and clinic patients. This position cares for all ages of patients from newborn through geriatric ages. The job requires cooperatively working with other staff, to be flexible with hours and to take call on a rotational basis. This position reports directly to the Radiology Director. The Staff Radiologic Technologist has contact with patients, hospital employees, volunteers, clinic personnel, and physicians. This position has access to sensitive, confidential information and must be able to maintain those confidences. The employee must be able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

    Must be registered with the A.R.R.T. or registry eligible and in the process of taking the examination. The level of education must include the ability to communicate effectively orally and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. CT experience preferred but not required. This position requires current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months.
