New Year’s Eve in the Dining Car
A very special 4 course dinner served for your enjoyment on the final evening of the decade. Served in the original “Dining Car #423” room of the historical Cascade Street Station (the olde depot by the Library).
House Chef Peter Vanderlinden will be your conductor and your journey will “leave the station” with a cup of his signature French Onion soup.
Next stop is a fresh, light and refreshing mixed-green side salad with your choice of dressing.
The “mainline” feature is a top shelf Surf & Turf featuring a gorgeous pan-seared 8 oz center cut fillet mignon with bordelaise sauce, 3 colossal 6 oz coconut-encrusted freshwater prawns served with house made remoulade, yukon gold pommes purée, and a fresh garden vegetable medley.
The “caboose” to this culinary train ride is a delectable slice of Dining Car #423 limoncello cake.
Ticket price for your “dinner of the decade” is $65 per person. Add a carefully house selected pairing flight of 4 wines for $16, or 4 spirits for $20.
Sorry, adults only. Reservations strongly encouraged. We are strictly limiting this train trip to 18 “passengers”. If you miss the train this time we will be offering the regular menu and special New Years appetizers all evening in our bar area, Steel Wheels.
All aboard!
