Lisa Workman, Jackie Formo, Jennifer Fronning, & LeeAnn Barnett.
Lisa Workman is the President of the Fergus Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. Lisa grew up in Sillwater, MN and graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Mass Communications and French. In 1998, Lisa moved to the Fergus Falls area from Milbank, SD with her husband, Troy. Soon after the move, Lisa took a position as the Marketing Manager at Nelson Ford which allowed her to establish relationships with many of the businesses in the area. Lisa transitioned into her position at the Chamber in 2007 and since then has worked diligently to lead the business sector of Fergus Falls to become an incredible place to create and conduct business.
When Lisa’s not working hard to find out how the Chamber can best serve their members, she can be found spending her spare time with Troy and their son, Eric, fishing, boating or snowmobiling. When the boys aren’t around, Lisa enjoys scrapbooking, photography, cooking and shopping locally.
Lisa believes that in order to make the most of your business each and every day, you must make sure to answer the door to the opportunities that knock. She lives this philosophy out by keeping her office door open to welcome new suggestions, ideas and volunteers.

Jackie Formo is your Director of Membership Development at the Chamber. Jackie joined our staff in 2014 and has worked diligently since then to advocate for partnerships, business growth, fostering healthy business relationships, and increasing community involvement. Jackie is passionate about connecting the Chamber’s current and potential members through Chamber benefits and resources. She is able to engage and connect with communities’ & businesses in a way that allows her to serve each business based on their individualized goals and needs. She provides award-winning customer service while serving the members of the Chamber, which has led to prodigious growth.
When Jackie’s not brainstorming ways to develop communication & marketing plans or connecting members to media resources, she cherishes making memories with her boys. Her family enjoys being active outdoors, riding local trails, playing catch, attending sports games and local festivities. When Jackie takes time for herself, she can be found serving, singing, attending social events, music concerts, and seeking adventure.

More smart businesses and organizations are becoming members, so we’ve added a new position. Jennifer Fronning joined the Chamber Team in October 2016 as the new Operations Coordinator and she’ll be the first smiling face that you see when you walk in the Chamber office door. Jennifer joins the full-time Chamber staff of Lisa Workman, President, and Jackie Formo, Director of Membership Development along with part-time Events Assistant LeeAnn Barnett.
Jennifer is your “go to gal” and will answer any questions you have about the community, area events, or the Chamber. She is friendly, energetic and a highly-organized professional with rock-solid office skills who is tasked with keeping the Chamber team and events organized and efficient.
When Jennifer is not greeting you at the Chamber or serving her community, she is doing something outdoors with her husband and two children. You can find them hunting, fishing or camping whenever possible. They love to attend events in the community and bring their friends to our wonderful city and show them around. With the lakes right at their fingertips, the family can usually be found on or around one of them.
Jennifer was born and raised in Fergus Falls and saw the opportunity to join a great team and help serve a community that she loves.
LeeAnn Barnett works with Events Assistant for the Chamber. LeeAnn had the unique opportunity of serving on our Board of Directors before coming on staff and has used this previous experience to help her better cater to our member’s needs. LeeAnn can be seen mostly at our Chamber events which she works diligently to coordinate donations for. In addition to aiding in office support, LeeAnn spends much of her time at the Chamber connecting with Members over the phone giving friendly reminders and sharing the news of various events they can anticipate.
LeeAnn invests her time and heart not only in the Chamber, but also in her husband, Joe, their kids and grandkids. On sunny days, LeeAnn will be lost in her garden or found in her kitchen concocting fresh salsa. We took a vote amongst our staff members, and it was unanimous: LeeAnn makes some of the best pickles in town! LeeAnn’s unmatched warmth and hospitality is something she extends to all of our members, so next time you’re downtown, be sure to stop in our office to experience it yourself!
